1967 Gibson ES335TD, “Cherry Red”. #894054 Vibrato To my mind these areA Cherry Red 335, from the 9th year of production! By then, there were some changes that had taken place along the way. A trapeze tailpiece replaced the stop tailpiece in 1965, dot inlays made way for these small block inlays in 1962. The nut width had narrowed a tad, chrome plating was being used instead of nickel since 1964. Apart from those, the guitar was inherently the same.
