Hand Colored Post Mortem CDV, ID Known pet looks like the handle ofOriginal CDV of a little girl with her doll. The coloring is original. It was not common to find this amount of color added to any CDV, so a boldly colored PM, which there are generally fewer of, would be considered rare. I have seen another of this exact same death portrait, and that one had the girl's name and death dates. Her name was Mary Linda (Mattie) Blauvelt, born March 21, 1869, died April 16, 1871.
