C. 1952 Herman Miller Eames DKR-1 Wire Dining Side Chair with Cognac Leather Oddities The black fabric on theThis is a DKR 1 Side Chair with an Eiffel Base, initially designed by Ray and Charles Eames in 1951. This early example dates to 1952. The cover on the chair is done in a cognac leather, and the steel frame is covered with a black powder coat. The chair retains its original Herman Miller tags. This chair measures 21 inches deep, 19 inches wide, and 32 inches high. We have intentionally left this chair in its original condition to showcase its history.
