Except instead of books, the bookshelf on the left appears to be filled with skulls. Original 1860s, early 1870s stereoview, manufactured in France. When viewed through a backlit light source, it's not only in 3D but the original hand tinted colors are seen (see photo 2). This stereo has condition issues, discoloration, staining, a hole please use the zoom feature to examine details.
