Handsome too!"Based on other photos I purchased with this lot, I am pretty sure this man's full name was Elias R. Stone, a cabinet maker who was born in Virginia in 1828 and died there in 1879. So he would've been about 25 here. I could find no record of him fighting in the Civil War though he would've been fighting age, so maybe one does exist.
