Caol ila 13 Year Old SMWS Peat And Meat 53.499 55.4% Cask Strength Matured in ex-bourbon hogshead forCaol Ila 13 year old by SMWS named Peat And Meat Distilled at the Caol Ila distillery on the 16th of March 2012 then initially matured in an ex bourbon hogshead before finishing in 1st fill Spanish oak ex Oloroso hogshead. Bottling was at a cask strength of 55. 4% abv. This is a bold and peaty dram. Hugely tarry, with thick, syrupy peat and lashings of meat and medicinal notes. Limited to just 270 bottled and one for fans of the unique taste of Caol
