Vintage 1960s Turquoise Holmegaard "Viking" Carafe art The Astro takes its designA wonderful turquoise carafe, flask, jug or decanter from Danish glassmaker Holmegaard Glasvrk's "Viking" series. Designed by Ole Winther in 1955 and produced from 1962 but discontinued in the 1970s. The carafe features a Viking Head wearing a crown with a large moustache and beard embossed seal with a circle surrounding it. In very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or nibbles.
