5x6 Antique Persian Senneh STPIX It has a fantastic pre-mid-century:: An antique hand knotted Persian Senneh ca. 1890. Very tight weave with classic center medallion and allover herati motif. A carpet is a unique survivor with great color. Note the unusual remains of a purple selvage in silk. Not all of the finer Senneh carpets were in silk or featured silk, however, the fact that the original selvage of this rug was silk serves as a further indicator (aside from the great colors, quality and design) of having likely
