Thomas graduated as an architect from the Aarhus School of Architecture in 2002. Stingray was a design he spent a long time on during his studies, but when it came time for his final exam, he faced a problem; the School of Architecture was equipped with a well outfitted woodworking shop, but had nowhere to work with steel and fiberglass. So, together with another
